Delete your AutoRev account

This page is for the AutoRev app on iOS and Android and for autorev.app. AutoRev, part of MACH Ventures, is operated by MACH Ventures LLC. Deleting your account deletes your data with it, immediately (a few stored files, such as garage documents, are removed by our hourly cleanup), and can’t be undone.

1. Delete it in the app

1. Open AutoRev and go to the You tab.
2. Tap your name at the top to open Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. If you want a copy of your data first, tap Download your data first (or use You → Privacy & data → Export my data). Manage subscriptions opens your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
5. Choose a reason if you like, then tap Delete account.

Your account is deleted immediately and you’re signed out. If the app can’t confirm it went through, sign in again: if you still can, delete it again from You → Account.

Cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription first

If you pay for AutoRev Pro in the app, Apple or Google bills you, and only you can cancel it. Deleting your AutoRev account doesn’t stop that subscription, so cancel it in your Apple subscriptions or your Google Play subscriptions. If you pay for AutoRev Pro on autorev.app, deleting your account cancels it for you before anything is deleted.

2. Can’t open the app? Ask us

Email [email protected] with “Delete My Account” in the subject line, from the email address you sign in to AutoRev with, or write to us through the contact form using that address. We confirm that you control that email address, then delete your account the same way the app does, and tell you when it’s done. We answer within the times in our Privacy Policy (Section 9.4).

If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, your AutoRev address is the private relay address Apple made for AutoRev. You can find it in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple; include it in your message.

3. What is deleted

• Your sign-in and profile, including the name you gave AL
• Your cars and their records: service history, modifications, dyno results, track times, journal, tools, checklists, documents and photos
• Your builds and their parts lists
• Your AL conversations, attachments, voice transcripts, “What AL knows” and your ratings
• Your push notification tokens and the log of reminders we sent you
• The record of which Terms and Privacy Policy versions you accepted, and your “Feature my car” choice
• Your feedback screenshots, signup attribution, referrals you made, and the log of emails we sent you
• Your customer records at Stripe and RevenueCat, and the early-access entry under your account’s confirmed email
• If you used Sign in with Apple, we ask Apple to revoke AutoRev’s access to your Apple Account

4. What we keep, and for how long

These stay after your account is gone, unlinked from your account:

• Payment and accounting records (what was bought and when, with the store’s purchase reference): as long as tax and accounting rules require
• Page counts and product activity, with your account ID removed: deleted automatically 13 months after they were recorded
• Error logs, with your account ID removed: deleted automatically 90 days after they were recorded
• The hashed code for each install of the app you signed in on, so the welcome month stays once per device
• A referral you joined through and paid for: a one-way coded form of your email address and device, so the same person can’t earn the referrer a second reward
• The reason you gave for leaving, and feedback you sent (without your email address or screenshots)
• A copy of your Apple token, only if Apple couldn’t be reached when you deleted, with no link to your account, to retry the revoke: up to 30 days
• Backups: deleted data can remain in our providers’ backups until those backups expire

Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own records of purchases you made through them, under their terms. The full list is in our Privacy Policy (Section 4).

5. Delete only some data

• Remove a car, a record, a build, a photo or a document where the app offers remove or delete. A removed car is hidden right away and deleted, with its photos, after 30 days
• Delete an AL chat in the app: open AL, tap Chats, touch and hold the chat, then tap Delete. You can also ask AL to delete one. To delete all your chats at once, email us (below) and we will
• Change or delete what AL remembers in You → What AL knows, or tap Forget everything
